Last Sunday Taafeef, Adaora, Ishana and Thomas represented Mowbray Heights Primary School in the Primary Division of the Tasmanian Maths Relays.  They were selected from a group of Year 5-6 students who have been provided with extension opportunities in Mathematics this year.

These students competed with enthusiasm and worked well as a team. They remained focused for 45 minutes to solve increasingly difficult maths problems.

Thank you to Mrs Boon-Smith who has worked each week with our students to increase their knowledge of mathematical concepts and understanding of problem solving, and how to work as a team.
