During library lessons students learn a range of skills. Kindergarten and Prep classes sing, participate in action rhymes and enjoy picture books. All Year 1-2 students can borrow 3 books each week. They are encouraged to borrow a chapter book, picture book and a non-fiction text. Some of the targeted lessons in Year 3-6 have included reciting poetry, viewing a range of picture books by authors/illustrators and the teaching of unfamiliar vocabulary in texts, which has promoted a greater understanding of the main ideas being presented.

If students have forgotten their library bag on their designated library day, they are welcome to return their library books before school between 8:30-8:55 am, Monday-Thursday.
