Throughout the year it is important that we continually remind ourselves of our school values - Respect, Responsibility, Connection, Courage and Growth. Our values are central to everything we do. They reflect what we stand for, support our decision making and guide us in how we work together as a school community.
This term we are turning our focus to the value Courage. Our students will be discussing the meaning of courage and how courage can be demonstrated in their everyday lives. Acting with courage means:
- accepting challenges and embracing opportunities
- thinking creatively and being brave
- being prepared to stand up for what is important
- not giving up
- being innovative and taking calculated risks in some situations
"Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the silent voice at the end of the day that says I will try again tomorrow." Mary Anne Radmacher

Welcome back to Term 4 – we hope you had a great break!
This term we have lots of exciting plans, including our Obstac-a-thon this Friday!
School is the best place for children, it’s a chance to be around friends, learn new things, grow and have fun.
Sometimes the final stretch of the year can be challenging for regular school attendance. Here are some tips to make every day count:
- Create a routine.
- Allow enough time in the morning.
- Be on time, every day.
- Plan appointments and trips outside school hours.
- Get a good night’s sleep.
- Set some technology boundaries.
For more information, visit the Anything can happen website.
If you’re having trouble getting your child to school, please talk to us. We’re here to help.
The Obstac-a-thon is a great fundraiser for our school and a way the students can have fun and be involved too by walking laps of an obstacle course that is set up around the school.
The Obstac-a-thon is on Friday 18 October. It is held at school at the following times:
- Year 3 - 6 students 10:00 am - 11:00 am
- Prep - Year 2 students 11:25 am - 12:25 pm
Prep - Year 6 students are encouraged to find relatives and friends to sponsor them per lap, or to give a donation. Sponsorship Forms were sent home last term. The Sponsorship Form and money collected are to be returned to school after the event, and by Friday 8 November.
Families are welcome to attend.
